Business Analyst

An excellent opportunity awaits a Business Analyst to join a leading managed IT services provider based in Manchester.

You’ll be part of a company renowned for delivering advanced technology solutions across various sectors, including cloud computing, cybersecurity, and data management.

Role Overview:

• Collaborate with client stakeholders and development teams to ensure user stories are well-defined, delivered, and approved for deployment.

• Translate business needs into detailed system requirements and technical design documents.

• Investigate, model, define, and document necessary business processes.

• Conduct requirements analysis for change requests, including gathering requirements and participating in workshops to understand project goals and scope.

• Support the creation of training and implementation materials.

• Assist in system, integration, and user acceptance testing.

• Engage in project sprint planning and work with the PMO as needed.

• Manage and prioritize the product backlog.

  
  

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies.

  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with business process modeling and requirements gathering.

• Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Jira, Trello).

• Knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel).

  
  

What You’ll Bring:

The ideal candidate will have extensive technical business analysis experience, preferably from a consulting environment. You should be skilled in process modeling methodologies, cloud-based requirement management tools like Azure DevOps and Jira, system testing, test script creation, ITIL processes and standards, and working within Scrum or other agile frameworks.

Additionally, you'll bring a proactive approach to problem-solving, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to anticipate project needs before they arise. Excellent communication skills are essential, as you'll need to effectively bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders. A collaborative mindset and the ability to adapt to fast-paced environments will ensure your success in this role.
